Mathwell is a purposeful secondary mathematics tutoring agency where social emotional learning is not an add-on. It is the foundation. We work with students in the middle grades through high school, and we hold a simple conviction: a student who feels safe, seen, and supported will outlearn a student who is simply drilled on procedures.

As a Mathwell Coach, you are not a worksheet dispenser. You are an educator, a mentor, and an advocate. You will work with a small caseload of students, build genuine relationships, and have the freedom to teach the whole student the way large classrooms rarely allow. If you are the kind of educator who knows that confidence and mathematics are built together, we want to meet you.

The Role
Mathwell Coach
1099 Independent Contractor Middle Grades – High School Mathematics In-Person & Virtual
Mathwell Coaches manage a small caseload of secondary students and drive academic success through high-impact, individualized tutoring rooted in social emotional learning. You will not design curriculum. Mathwell provides it. Your work is to prepare for sessions and deliver our curriculum thoughtfully, with each student in mind. You will track progress, partner with families, and serve as a steady, encouraging presence in a young person's mathematical life. This is a flexible contractor role built for educators who want to do their best work without the constraints of a crowded classroom.

Qualifications

Mathwell serves both general education students and students with diverse learning needs. Educators with experience supporting special education or differentiated instruction bring exactly the kind of skill our students benefit from.
